[00:45.65]I have good news for you.
[00:48.73]She’s still in there.
[00:50.69]That girl who laughed too loud,
who dreamed too big, who danced
[00:56.25]in her room, that girl never left.
[01:00.53]She just went quiet
while you were busy surviving.
[01:07.25]The thing is, she went quiet when
you learned to put yourself last.
[01:11.93]She went quiet when you were told you were
too much or not enough at the same time.
[01:20.81]She went too quiet when you started
asking everyone else who you should be.
[01:30.13]But I promise you, she still in there.
[01:34.65]That song that makes
you cry in the car for no reason,
[01:39.13]that means she’s still in there.
[01:41.09]In that moment, you see another woman
living boldly and you feel that ache,
[01:46.53]that means she’s in there.
[01:48.69]In that journal, you haven’t opened.
[01:52.57]In that idea you haven’t killed, even
though you tried,
[01:56.57]that means she’s still in there.
[02:00.13]You think you need to find yourself?
[02:02.41]You don’t.
[02:05.13]You need to return to yourself.
[02:12.05]She’s still in there
waiting for you to come home.
[02:16.77]She didn’t need you to be perfect.
[02:19.77]She just needs you to listen,
to choose yourself once
[02:26.09]today, and then again tomorrow.
[02:31.37]So, start small.
[02:34.61]Speak to yourself like someone you love.
[02:37.77]Wear what you like, not what’s practical.
[02:40.85]Say what you really think.
[02:43.81]Spend time alone without feeling lonely.
[02:47.09]And Every time you choose you, you are
turning the volume up on her voice again.
[02:56.29]So, to that woman who forgot herself, look in
the mirror tonight and say, “I see you.
[03:07.49]I remember you.
[03:10.13]And, I’m coming back.”
Because the world doesn’t just need the
[03:17.57]mother, the wife, the worker, the
friend, the sister, the daughter.
[03:23.05]The world needs you, the whole you.
[03:29.61]And she still in there,
waiting, and ready…
