If I Knew Then Part 2

[00:00:26.54]Well, we’re still talking about that issue of,
[00:00:31.02]if I knew then, you know, that song that goes,
[00:00:37.02]if I knew then what I know now.
[00:00:39.02]Yeah.
[00:00:40.02]So, you know, with growing up,
[00:00:43.02]most of us were sheltered a lot by our parents and guardians
[00:00:48.02]who made decisions for us and guided us to move forward and,
[00:00:53.02]you know, stuff like that.
[00:00:55.02]But there was a point in time when you had to make a major decision.
[00:01:02.01]Did you quit whatever it is you’re doing?
[00:01:06.02]Could have been school.
[00:01:08.02]Could have been college.
[00:01:10.02]Could have been a job or even a relationship.
[00:01:15.01]Did you quit?
[00:01:16.02]Did you run from what you thought was your place of stress?
[00:01:23.02]Well, I did.
[00:01:27.02]And at this age where I am now,
[00:01:32.02]I have come to realize that it became a pattern thereafter.
[00:01:38.02]Anytime I couldn’t handle it, I took off.
[00:01:44.02]I’m not too young right now, but I’m not too old to stop either.
[00:01:52.01]I have said enough.
